Through the SPOZZ Marketplace, artists can create, sell, and directly license their original beats to other creators in a blockchain-backed system. This allows artists to collaborate, monetize, and protect their rights over beats with complete transparency.
Unlike regular songs, Beats are not played in the SPOZZ Music streaming app. Instead, they are available exclusively on the SPOZZ Marketplace, ensuring they are positioned as professional creator-to-creator assets.
Artists can list their beats under the Unlockable Content section. This means that the original audio files, including stems, can be attached as content that becomes accessible only after purchase.
Key Features
Buyers receive 100% of the master rights for the new recording they create.
Creators retain 30% of the publishing rights in the final work, ensuring recognition and ongoing royalties.
Resale Rules
Beats can only be resold if they have not yet been used. Once resold, the seller loses the right to use the Beat.
How to Create Beats on SPOZZ
Beats are created in the Drops section, under the Music category. The process is generally similar to creating a Drop for any regular song, but there are specific aspects to keep in mind for Beats.
Stage One – Unlockable Content
In the first stage of creating the Drop, you can set your Beat as unlockable content so that only the buyer can access it.
You may also choose to provide a short audio preview or add a personal comment about the Beat to potential buyers.
Stage Two – License Selection
In the second stage, you must select the license type.
For Beats, you must choose the license:
“BEATS – Exclusive Creator-to-Creator License v1.”
Once a Drop is created, the license type cannot be changed. Make sure to select this license when launching your Beat.Stage Three – Launch Settings
In the third stage, remember to indicate that you are launching a Beat.
After that, simply proceed with the launch process.
Viewing and Selling Your Beats
Once your Beat is created, you will see it in your profile under “My Drops.”
Potential buyers will be able to find it in the Drops/Releases section.
By default, only songs are displayed, so buyers must apply filters to view Beats for sale:
Go to Apply Filters.
Enable Beats.

Once enabled, all Beats for sale will be displayed.
If you want to purchase a Beat, simply click on it and proceed with the purchase. Payments can be made using SPOZZ Credits.
Managing Your Beats
If for any reason you want to remove or archive a Beat you’ve launched, you can do so from the “My Drops” section in your profile.
That’s it for this tutorial! Now you know how to launch, buy, and sell Beats on SPOZZ.
