1. RTMP URL and stream key for YouTube
- Go to YouTube Studio (studio.youtube.com) in your browser.
- Click "Create" (the + symbol) and select "Go Live."
- In the "Stream" tab (Encoder), you’ll find the RTMP server URL (usually starting with rtmp:// or rtmps://) and the stream key.
- Copy this information and go to SPOZZ Live > Destinations > RTMP, and paste them in the corresponding fields. Then save the settings.
2. RTMP for LinkedIn Live
LinkedIn Live is a live streaming tool for users with business LinkedIn accounts or profiles with access to LinkedIn Live. If you don’t have access, you must request it first.
Steps to obtain the RTMP URL and stream key for LinkedIn Live:
- Log in to your LinkedIn account in your browser.
- In the top menu, select "Me" (your profile picture) and go to "Post a live video."
- If this is your first time using it, you’ll need to request access to LinkedIn Live. If you already have access, you’ll see the option to create an event.
- Create a live event on LinkedIn.
- After creating the event, LinkedIn will give you an RTMP URL and a stream key. These are what you’ll need to connect to LinkedIn Live.
Configuration in SPOZZ Live:
- RTMP server URL: Copy the URL provided by LinkedIn.
- Stream key: Copy the stream key provided by LinkedIn.
- Open SPOZZ Live, tap the gear icon on the preview screen, and select RTMP. Paste the URL and stream key in the corresponding fields, and save the changes.
3. How to get the RTMP URL and Stream Key for Facebook Live
1. Access your Facebook account:
Open Facebook in your browser and log in to your account.
2. Go to your Facebook page or profile:
If you want to stream to your personal profile, go to your profile. If you're streaming to a page, go to your Facebook Page.
3. Start a Live Stream:
Click on the "Live" button. For a page, you can find this option in the "Create Post" section; for your personal profile, you’ll find it in the "What's on your mind?" area.
4. Get the RTMP Stream URL and Stream Key:
In the Live Stream setup window, select "Use Stream Key."
Facebook will display the RTMP server URL (usually starting with rtmp://) and the Stream Key.
5. Copy and paste the RTMP details into SPOZZ Live:
Copy the RTMP URL and Stream Key from Facebook.
Open SPOZZ Live, tap the gear icon (top right) on the preview screen, and select RTMP.
Paste the URL and Stream Key into the corresponding fields and save your settings.
6. Start streaming:
You can now start your stream from SPOZZ Live to Facebook!
4. How to obtain the RTMP for TikTok
TikTok allows live streaming via a custom RTMP. However, you must meet certain requirements before obtaining the URL and stream key.
Steps to obtain the RTMP URL and stream key for TikTok:
- Make sure you have access to TikTok Live:
To stream live, your account must meet TikTok’s requirements. If you can’t access it, you won’t be able to get the RTMP. - Set up RTMP access:
- Open the TikTok app on your phone.
- Tap the + icon to create a new video.
- Swipe to the "Live Stream" option.
- In the settings screen, look for the "Stream with Encoder" option. Here, you can generate your RTMP URL and stream key.
Configuration in SPOZZ Live:
- RTMP server URL: Paste the RTMP URL from TikTok in the corresponding field.
- Stream key: Paste the stream key provided by TikTok in the other field.
- Afterward, save the changes, and you’re ready! You can now stream live to TikTok using SPOZZ Live.
5. How to obtain the RTMP for Twitch
- Log in to your Twitch account in the browser or desktop app.
- Click on your profile picture (in the top-right corner) and select "Dashboard."
- On the left panel, go to "Settings" and select "Channel and Videos."
- Inside Channel and Videos, you’ll see the "Stream Settings" section. Here, you’ll find the RTMP server URL and the stream key.
- The RTMP URL is usually rtmp://live.twitch.tv/app.
- The stream key is a unique code you’ll find in that section.
Configuration in SPOZZ Live:
- RTMP server URL: Paste the Twitch server URL (e.g., rtmp://live.twitch.tv/app).
- Stream key: Copy and paste the stream key provided by Twitch.
- Save the changes, and you can now stream directly to Twitch!
