How to create NFTs or collectible items of images, audio, or video on the SPOZZ.club Marketplace with 1155 contract?

To create an NFT, the first thing to do is to log in to your account with the wallet you have linked (if necessary, see How to log in and associate a wallet to your account in the SPOZZ Marketplace? and How to connect and disconnect your wallet linked to your account in the SPOZZ Marketplace?).

- Then, at the top of the Marketplace page, click on "Create", "Create NFTs":

When you do so, a new screen opens where you will have to choose a file for your NFT.

Please note that it is possible to create different types of NFTs in the SPOZZ Marketplace: music, video and image.

The page itself indicates the following parameters depending on the type of NFT you want to create:

The NFT creation process is similar in all cases, the only thing that changes is the type of file you upload to the platform. For this tutorial we are going to create an image NFT.

Steps:

1- Select the file (image, video, music...). By clicking on the gray box you will be able to choose the file you will upload from your computer.

2- Give a name and a description to this item that you will create.

3- Subsequently, the "Collection" field appears, which allows you to incorporate these new items into a collection that you have already created.

So, you need to create a collection before proceeding (if necessary, see How to create collections that allow me to make Drops, NFTs and collectible items with 1155 and 721 contracts?).

For these tutorials, we already had the collection "Collection Music 1155" created and could therefore choose it. By doing so, all the items we create within this collection in the future will have a contract type 1155, which means that we will be able to release several identical collectible copies and registered on the blockchain.

Depending on the blockchain that owns the collection (Ethereum, Polygon or BNB Smart Chain), the blockchain of the items (Drops, NFTs) that you are going to create will be defined. The same applies to the "Symbol" field.

4- The "Symbol" field will be automatically completed according to the collection you have selected.

5-  When choosing the collection, the contract type field is also filled in. For this case, the collection has a contract "1155" (which allows to create tens or thousands of copies of an item; this is very useful, for example, if an artist wants to release several copies of a song or a photographer wants to release several copies of an image).

Automatically, the blockchain will also be established. That is, all NFTs created within a collection will respect the parameters of that collection.

The category that the NFT will have must also be defined. Among the available options, the correct one must be chosen:

6- As previously mentioned, if in the "Contract Type" field you choose "1155", several copies of the NFT (ERC1155 tokens) can be made. For example, a musician might want to sell several copies of a song or a photographer several copies of a photograph.

For this tutorial, we will create 10 copies, so we have previously selected 1155 and defined that number in the corresponding field:

As mentioned above, on the other hand, if you chose a contract type 721, the field "Number of copies" will not appear since only one item will be created. See that in the following image this field disappears:

7- Next, in properties, you can add one or more characteristics that describe the NFT or the items you are going to create. To do this, by clicking Tab on the keyboard, the platform allows you to add more and more properties.

8- Later, still on this same page, you will be able to set the "Royalties". To do this, click on "ADD ADRESS".

When you do so, by default, the wallet from which the NFT is created will appear there.

But, in turn, it is possible to add many more wallets with different royalty percentages. Also, before continuing, by clicking on the crosses, it is possible to delete any or all of the previously selected wallets.

After selecting the desired wallets, click on "Save".

9- After the royalties field, the options "Instant sale price", "Put on sale" and "Unlock once purchased" appear:

In "Instant sale Price", you can choose a price at which these items will be sold instantly, i.e. without requiring any prior negotiation by the people who wish to buy these items. If you activate this field, you must define the amount and currency.

Meanwhile, with "Put on sale" you will be able to put the items on sale, so you will be open to receive offers.

Regarding the "Unlock once purchased" option, this is applicable if the creator wants those who buy the item to have access to extra content, only visible to them.

For this tutorial, we will leave these three options disabled ("Instant sale price", "Put on sale" and "Unlock once purchased") because in a following tutorial we will show how to put these items on sale and how the exclusive content is generated and works.

10- Afterwards, the "Instant Minting" option appears, which allows to mine the items at the moment of their creation, while, in case of choosing "Lazy Minting", the mining will occur when someone decides to buy the items. In this second case, the creator will not have to pay the gas for the minting, but the buyers will do it.

In Tags, references can be added in relation to the NFTs that are about to be created.

For this tutorial, we will put "Instant Minting" and, finally, we click on "Create contract".

11- When you click on "Create contract", you must accept in the wallet; for this tutorial, we are using MetaMask.

The platform will give a notification regarding the minting progress...

Once the mint is completed, the platform will notify you and will direct you to your profile.

As defined by this tutorial, the 10 items we have created will not appear for sale. Therefore, in this case, they appear in the "Owned" tab of your profile.

Clicking on the photo of these 10 items will open a page where you can see the details of these ERC1155 copies created:

You can see that, in this case, as we have defined, the items are not for sale.

That's all for this tutorial! To see how to put items on sale from this page, see How to put NFTs or collectible items on sale in the SPOZZ Marketplace?.
